A little about us...

We are Shawn and Suzette (Yamada) Fernandez, Rottweiler fanciers from the state of Hawaii.  We are lucky to call Hawaii home, however, thanks to the United States Army, we have lived all over the world.  Our lovely home stretches just over two acres.  We currently live approximately 30 minutes north of Nashville in Ashland City, Tennessee with our "kids", Emi, Shelby, Oly & Lazar.

We are members of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), American Kennel Club (AKC), American Rottweiler Club (ARC) and Train Compete Title Working Dog Association (TCTWDA).  We train and handle all our own dogs.  Our dogs come from the best lines offered in the United States, Germany, Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Denmark - just to name a few.  Our mission is to provide our kids a balanced lifestyle consisting of the appropriate type of discipline, training, and exercise.  We accomplish this by:

  • adhering to practices consistent with the ARC
  • being great pack leaders to our kids
  • acquiring useful knowledge to continually educate ourselves and others about the Rottweiler breed
  • continually assessing our own stock
  • being great ambassadors of the Rottweiler breed as we travel the world

In our free time we enjoy taking in the beauty Hawaii has to offer and of course, spending time with our dogs.

When not in uniform, we're pretty normal people, except when we are into our crazy dog stuff.  Suzette is a Middle School Teacher.  Shawn is an officer in the US Army.
